In the morning of Jan 30th, 2008, which day was the birthday of Jordan King-Abdullah II, ZXAUTO laid a foundation with AYASS Motors for their automobile plant in Amman Royal Hotel for the KD plant which the first automobile assembly plant in Jordan. Robert Yu, the president of ZXAUTO, took part in the ceremony as one cooperating representative.

People who took part in the cornerstone laying ceremony were Nader al-Zahabi, Jordan Prime Minister, Dr.Maen Nsour, CEO of the Jordan Investment Board, representatives of Jordan trade business community, the relevant ambassadors in Jordan, Ma Jianchun，Commercial Counsellor of China in Jordan and so on.

Amir, the Minister of Industry and Trade in Jordan was on behalf of Jordan government to congratulate on completion of the first automobile assembly plant in Jordan. He believed that increase of other industry investment and bringing up industry talents must be come true, and also stimulate economic growth.

Robert Yu,the president of ZXAUTO ,made a speech in the ceremony. He introduced the history 、products and export of ZXAUTO and expressed that ZXAUTO would try best to support AYASS Motors ’design 、build、trial-produce of this KD plant and organize the training of staff with years of experience of product development 、producing technics、sales and serve .

Nader al-Zahabi, Jordan Prime Minister and MAZIN, the president of AYASS unveiled the cornerstone after the speech.

The KD plant was invested $14,000,000 with an output of 5,000 units per year by single team. Its leading product is ZXAUTO Landmark SUV and Grand Tiger pickup, which would be sold in Jordan and Middle east countries, such as Iraq、Syria、Lebanon.

In the morning of Jan 29th, 2008, Robert Yu visited Gong Xiaosheng ,the Chinese ambassadors in Jordan and Ma Jianchun，Commercial Counselor of China in Jordan. He reported the cooperation between ZXAUTO and AYASS as well as KD plant’s building to them. They put forward good suggestions to ZXAUTO on overseas development and expressed that they would help opening up Middle East market.
